Welcome to the new home for Artful Avocations! I'm excited to be continuing over ten years of blogging on a new platform that will allow me to provide more content for my followers and offer an easier way to get my downloadable files. I still have my other blog, however the domain name has changed to www.sharonsrivera.com. It will remain my primary blog for paper crafting and Stampin' Up!
I'll be sharing lots of projects and ideas with you. I invite you to follow along and enjoy, comment, and be a part of this with me.
You can read a little more about this in the "About" section above.
I am excited to be a part of this new market for handmade artists this summer! When contacted and invited to be one of the artists by Lisa at the Hemingway House, I was completely humbled and honored. I've been participating in lots of farmers' markets and other maker fairs lately, but I am really excited about this one and excited to meet the other artists. Lisa is doing a fantastic job of organizing and promoting this event.
I'll have a space at Lemon Grove Market on June 3, June17, July 1, July 15, July 29, August 12, and August 26. So, please come out and say hello and don't forget to show Lisa some love for bringing this event to Irvine!
Here is some information regarding this exciting new market from www.thelemongrovemarket.com. Please visit the web site and read more about this market and check out the list of artists who will be participating.

New hours start on Saturday, July 1, 2017! The Lemon Grove Market will open at 9:00 a.m. to beat the summer heat and will close at 3:00 p.m.

I've made some new hand-stamped jewelry, wood signs, decorator throw pillows, and I've got one vintage wooden school chair painted up really cute plus an old window with a farmer's market design etched into the glass panes that I'll be bringing with me on July 1, 2017. YOU won't want to miss out on these one-of-a-kind hand made items!
Hope to see you there! Make sure you stop by space #14 and say hello!
