I hope everyone is enjoying their summer thus far. I'm mostly working on some DIY projects around the house, like tearing up my carpet downstairs and installing some wood laminate. Yep, I'm getting a daily workout "standing on my head" pulling out nails from tack strips and baseboards.
Anyway, I took a break to go with Jamie to the Tough Mudder event this last Saturday. I did not participate, just in case you were wondering. I was merely a chauffer. I didn't think he would be in any condition to drive home after this grueling event, so being a good mom, I took him. By the way, after the event, he didn't even look tired! The kid is in really, really good shape! He takes working out and eating right seriously.
