...you go to dinner at the Knott's Berry Farm Chicken Dinner Restaurant at 5 o'clock in the afternoon on a Saturday and there is NO line!! There's always a very long line there. One reason we never eat there. But, my sister and her youngest son wanted to have their birthday dinner there, so that's where we had dinner yesterday. We were surprised to find no line when we arrived. Everyone must be staying inside with the AC on or at the beach.
The heat has caused some terrible fires in our local mountains. So, please keep the firefighters and local residents in your thoughts and prayers.
My friend Sue and I also had our Retired Stamp Set Sale in Anaheim yesterday morning. Everyone was cooking there too. SO HOT!!! The outdoor market was supposed to go until 2 p.m., but we noticed all the other vendors packing up, so we packed it up and headed home at 12:30. Sooooo.....we'll be back there next month, hopefully it will be cooler at the end of September. Although, you never know. Our fall season can be very warm too.
