I actually started making this card for last Valentine's Day and never finished it!! Bad, I know. I made the silver "tray" last year, but that's as far as I got. The tray has just been floating around on my desk...for a year!! I almost used it as a "cookie" tray at Christmas, but didn't. Anyway, I told myself I could not make any valentine cards until I finished this one. Last week I made the rest of it! Mission accomplished!
The card base is SU! white card stock. I punched out some red hearts and strategically adhered them to the base so they show through the vellum layer. Then I attached the piece of red-striped vellum from my stash over them. On top of that I added the silver embossed "tray" and the chocolates, tag and bow. They were all attached with dimensionals. The tray was stamped with the rectangle frame from ACWP's Vintage Valentine stamp set using silver Encore Metallic pigment ink on some really shiny silver card stock that I had in my stash and cut out. The chocolates are from ACWP's Holiday Treats stamp set, stamped in SU! Chocolate Chip ink and colored with alcohol markers. I then covered them with a think layer of clear Stickles. The tag was stamped in SU! Real Red ink using a Happy Valentine's sentiment from ACWP. The red card stock part of the tag was punched from a really shiny metallic piece of red card stock from my stash. Hope you like it!
