Autumn

I finally had a few minutes of time to stamp a card this weekend.  I used the Autumn Picking set from A Chemistry With Paper to stamp out a little scene of some of autumn's bounty.  I stamped the pumpkin and then masked it and stamped the basket over it to give the appearance the basket is behind the pumpkin.  The apples line up perfectly with the contour of the basket, so it's easy to just stamp them in place.  The card stock (5-1/2" square) and designer paper is from SU! as well as the inks.  I used the watercolor technique to color in everything.  All the images were stamped in Close to Cocoa.  The brads and ribbon are from the stash.  Make sure you check out A Chemistry With Paper - they have some really nice sets that are very versatile for stamping and scrapbooking.  Thanks for looking!

Autumn Poetry

Every now and then I hit a poetic streak....lol.  Here is a little poem that just came to me and I thought it would be nice on a stamp.  It fits perfectly in the sign.  These stamps are also from Giving Thanks from A Chemistry With Paper.
SU! Old Olive, Very Vanilla, and Really Red were used.  Inks are Creamy Carmel, Old Olive, Ruby Red, Pumpkin Pie, and Summer Sun.  The ribbon is just from one of my ribbon stashes.  Thanks for looking!

More Pumpkins!

I love the "sketchy" look of these pumpkins from the Giving Thanks set by A Chemistry With Paper.  The stems are a separate stamp, so you can ink them in a different color than the pumpkins.  Pretty cool.

The stamps for the pumpkins are the large and small pumpkins, the two stems, and the curly tendril on the large pumpkin.  The sentiment is from the same set.  I used SU! card stocks Very Vanilla and Old Olive and the Halloween Designer Series paper.  I used the watercolor technique with SU! Classic Inks Old Olive, Really Rust, Pumpkin Pie, and Summer Sun.  The ribbon is from American Crafts.  I'm not sure who the brads are from, but picked them up while in Denver for the SU! Convention this summer.

Pumpkin Pie Tag

I made this tag to attach to a pie I will be making.  As soon as I finish this post, I am going to the Pumpkin Festival at Cal Poly Pomona to meet some friends and  pick out some sweet little pie pumpkins. 
I used SU! card stocks Very Vanilla and Old Olive.  I used SU! Classic Inks Really Rust, Creamy Carmel, Close to Cocoa, Old Olive, Summer Sun, and More Mustard to watercolor the images.  The images are from the Fall Picking Set from A Chemistry With Paper.  The ribbon is made by Offray and the eyelets  threaded through a slot punched with SU! slot punch...sorry, I'm not sure who they're from.  I used the Crop-O-Dile to emboss the dots between the eyelets.  Thanks for looking!  Have a great weekend.

My Favorite New Set

I love Fall and everything it offers!  This Fall Picking set has to be my favorite of all the new sets at A Chemistry With Paper.  I can hardly wait to use it.  My class just went on a field trip to a pumpkin farm and this set will be perfect to use in scrapping some of the photos.  I also want to use it to create some tags and labels for some fall/Thanksgiving baking I plan on doing (don't ask me when I plan on doing this!!!  I can dream, can't I? lol).  Happy Autumn!  Happy Stamping!  Thanks for stopping by.

Fantastic Fall!

I really like this speckled Autumn Alphabet set from A Chemistry With Paper.  I'm not really happy with the way the colors on the pumpkin turned out.  I'll have to work on this!  I really like the way the letters in this alphabet have bases that allow the stamper to easily align them right next to each other on the block to stamp out words.  The frame stamp is from the Ribbon and Labels set and as you can see, the letter fits perfectly on it.

Yep, that's right.  This is a really neat set with all kinds of old fashioned soda fountain themed stamps.  I promised I would get some samples up here, but haven't really had time to really do justice to the set.  Keep your eyes open for more samples.  You can order the set at A Chemistry With Paper now!

I stamped this on SU! glossy white cs with real red, chocolate chip, and pretty in pink classic inks.  The cone is colored in with creamy carmel.  I used a light pink gel pen to go over the lines on the ice cream scoop.
