This afternoon I played with the Simply Scrappin' kit Friends and Flowers and this is the result. We went to Hawaii last summer and I'm a little slow at getting some of my pictures framed or scrapbooked. I covered a frame I bought at Michael's with Chocolate Chip card stock and patterned papers and stickers from Friends and Flowers. The Hawaii letters were cut using my Cricut and the Tear Drop font. The handsome young man (if I do say so myself) in the picture is my youngest son at the Dole Pineapple Plantation. (See the pineapples growing on the plants next to him?) He really gets into the Hawaiian lifestyle! He wears shorts and flip-flops year-round even on our coldest Southern California days. This was his second trip to Hawaii and like everyone else, he loves it there!
